Change Federal Withholding What Should I Change My Federal Withholding To If I Am Divorced With One Child?

What should I change my federal withholding to if I am divorced with one child? - change federal withholding

My wife and I are separated in the middle of a divorce (as can be ammicable like) and have a daughter. We have to share custody and joint physical custody of the child and I asked myself what I'm withholding tax? They now claim 0, but what I need now, with the support, more money from each paycheck.
Thanks for any help.

Wait until your divorce before you make changes W4 final. In their reports, the divorce, it was decided that for his daughter as an exemption from the tax. Or maybe you have two years. Someone in his position should have a little further back in the year goes along, so you do not come knocking on the tax when the time comes.

You could possibly claim 1 and always. It depends on whether he accepts the child. If you think you could add another 2 and be pretty sure, but if you stick to your ex to 1.
